The Northwest Multiple Listing Service EXPO was a 1-day educational conference that took place at the Convention Center in Lynnwood, WA. The conference focused on educating NWMLS Members, or Real Estate Brokers on NWMLS tools and forms plus other real estate insights, and more.
This large retractable welcome banner was created in Adobe InDesign. To the right you can see two amazing NWMLS employees in the check-in area. The conference had approximately 600 Real Estate Brokers register for the event so I broke the check-in area up by last name and created the necessary signage. At this event each Broker received a swag bag with a personalized event booklet plus a branded lanyard, pen, notepad, and 2-business card sized drink tickets.
Personalized booklets contained the persons name and company name on the cover. Three versions of the booklet were created: one for event attendees/NWMLS Members, one for event sponsors, and one for event staff. The first page of the booklet was a welcome letter from the NWMLS CEO, Tom Hurdelbrink. The second page of the booklet was a page about the event keynot lunch speaker. The third and fourth pages had information about the available classes. The fifth page contained a map that I created in illustrator complete with custom icons. The sixth page featured sponsor logos. Finally, the seventh and eighth pages were extra notes pages.
The lower level of the convention center had several classrooms with short lectures plus the event sponsors. The retractable banner on the left was placed near the lower level entrance to welcome anyone that entered there and direct them to the check-in area up the stairs. This retractable banner was also created in Adobe InDesign.
Seperate PowerPoint decks were created and displayed on monitors throughout the venue in the morning and afternoon. The decks communicated information about the schedule, encouraged attendees to post on social media using our hashtag and take a picture with our selfie frame, contained real estate tips & tricks, and more.
The above shopping list size notepad was designed using Adobe InDesign and printed within the NWMLS print shop. The branded water bottle, pen, and stadium bag were ordered out of house.
Foam board signs were placed near the convention center exits reminding attendees to turn in their clock hour card and showing them where to turn the card in. Real estate professionals need a certain amount of clock hours when renewing their real estate license. Therefore, it was important that they do not leave without turning in proof that they attended the educational sessions. The foam board sign contains my custom map drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
